“The Clockmaker’s Daughter” by Kate Morton

Book Cover

It took me a while to get into this novel, but I’m glad I plowed through the beginning. The plots jumps between different decades as the mystery revolving around a death in a cottage in the English countryside is unraveled. The author does a wonderful job of interweaving the lives of the various occupants of the home. The story has romance, mystery and a bit of fantasy. It turned out to be a very enjoyable book.
