- How do I reserve a Museum Pass?
Commack Public Library adult cardholders, 18 and over, and in good standing, may borrow a museum pass. Go to our website and click on Museum Passes. Click Reserve a Museum Pass and click Accept. Use the calendar to select the date of your visit. Available passes will read Request Pass. Click Request Pass and enter your library card barcode without any spaces between the digits. Click Submit - Continue - Continue - Submit this Request. You should see Congratulations. This Pass Reservation is Complete on the confirmation page. Museum passes may be reserved up to two months in advance and are limited to one pass at a time per family..
- What if I return the Museum Pass late?
A $3.00 fee will be charged to your library card if the pass is returned late. If a pass is lost, the borrower will be charged any fee incurred by its replacement.
- How many people does each admit?
Each museum sets its own limits which are listed on the reservation page under pass details. Borrowers should call the museum directly for information concerning parking, hours of operation and directions. Each museum reserves the right to determine all Borrowing Rules governing the use of their pass.
- Where do I pick up my Museum Pass?
At the Reference Desk.
- Where do I return my Museum Pass?
Passes must be returned at the Commack Public Library. You may return the pass in the drive-up book drop or inside the Library at the Reference Desk.
- Can I view my Museum Pass reservation?
Yes. You may view your reservations and make changes online at My Passes on our Museum Pass page. As a courtesy to others, please cancel any reservation you will not be using as soon as possible.
- How do I cancel my reservation?
Go to My Passes on our Museum Pass reservation page, enter your barcode and you will be able to view and cancel your reservation.
