Friends of the Library
Who are the Friends of the Commack Public Library?
The Friends of the Commack Public Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the Commack Public Library. As Friends, we act as liaisons between the Library and the community to help increase awareness of the services and materials the Library has to offer. We provide financial assistance to the library by purchasing items for the library which are of great benefit but are not included in the Library’s operating budget.

The Friends of the Library help make good things happen. From supporting programs and events to encouraging community engagement, the Friends play an important role in enhancing the library experience for patrons of all ages.
By joining the Friends, you help support a library that brings people together.
